  1. The meeting of May 16, 2007 was called to order by President Ken Mattuck at 7pm.

 

  1. Raul Zaldivar and Brad Helms were introduced as our guests  to provide a follow-  

up report to course conditioning.  The following items were discussed:

 

    1. Course management will present a request for $250-300,000 funding to

                        to fund the major projects of our requests.  This includes bunker re-hab,

collar re-hab, equipment, and fees for the construction firm, Bruce and

Lohman.

                 

    1. A discussion followed concerning green speed.   Brad Helms reported

that he will be using an upgraded liquid fertilizer, growth regulator for

the poa, and the possibility of rolling the greens.

                 

    1. Board members were encourage to attend the Park Board meeting next

week to lend support to this request.

 

  1. The minutes of the May meeting were presented and approved.

 

  1. Financial report was presented and approved.

 

  1. Bob Alexander reported that  Dutch Schultz will serve as the park board president this year.

 

  1. A discussion was held on upgrading the raffle items for the Spring smoker.  Action was tabled.

 

  1. A motion was made to allow the use of range finders during PHGA events.  The motion was defeated.

 

  1. The next meeting is scheduled for June 20, 2007; 7pm, at the clubhouse.

 

  1. The meeting was adjourned at 8:30pm.
