Palatine Hills Re-Rated
Palatine Hills Golf Course has been re-rated by the CDGA. As a result most tees saw an increase in slope of two, with the Gold tees increasing three. As a result your playing handicap will most likely increase by 1 or 2. Your playing handicap can be found on the GHIN or My Caddie app.
Black Tee was 130 is now 132
Blue Tee was 127 is now 129
Blue/White Tee was 124 is now 126
White Tee was 120 is now 122
White/Gold Tee was 116 is now 118
Gold Tee was 112 is now 115
New Member Incentive Program
The PHGA Board announces a New Member Incentive Program. Any Existing PHGA Member will receive a $20 award for each New Member that they recruit into the PHGA.
A New Member is defined as someone that has never been a PHGA member, pays the current year’s PHGA membership dues, has a current GHIN number and the New Member cannot be the joining member
An Existing PHGA Member is a member that has paid the current year’s membership dues and was a PHGA member in the previous year
It is requested that the New Member should fill in the referring member field on the New Member form. Otherwise the PHGA board reserves the right to validate any request for new membership credit
This program begins March 15th and will end at the end of the PHGA season
PHGA Helps at Special Olympics Outing at Palatine Hills

A few of the PHGA volunteers cooking hot dogs on hole #13 during the SLSF Special Olympics scramble hosted by Palatine Hills. The event was Thursday June 5. The PHGA had a total of nine volunteers at the event.

Palatine Hills Closing for 2024 on November 18
Last day the course will be open is November 17. Closed for the season starting November 18.
Palatine Cup - Steamrollers 150 over the Bombers 120
Steamrollers 150 over the Bombers 120. Great weather set up by Steve Fallon and a great group of guys. I wanted to highlight Steve Gillette, Art Rush, Ken Mattuck and Phil Frawley who were key contributors and the entire team. The greens were fast and the Couse was in great shape. Thanks again to everybody who participated.
